Pets get 40 of the hunter's resistances added to their own. Pets get 12.5 of the hunter's ranged attack power added to their spell damage. Pets get 22 of the hunter's ranged attack power added to their melee attack power.
Pets get 35 of the hunter's armor added to their armor. Ghost Howl used to be marked as a rare spawn (even though he really wasn't one). Pets get 30 of the hunter's stamina added to their stamina. Lamepaw the Whimperer - spawns in Elwynn Forest Lupos uses Leaping Rush (it's like the druid's Feral Charge) and Rabies which slows down your health regeneration and reduces your intellect and stamina by 5% for 20 seconds.
